The Science

I graduated from Rider University with a bachelor's degree in biology, minor in chemistry, with Baccalaureate honors. I then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a master's in environmental studies, with a concentration in environmental biology.

In 15 years as an environmental consultant, I delineated 1000s of acres of freshwater and coastal wetlands in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, wrote dozens of environmental impact statements, and secured numerous regulatory agency wetland approvals, et cetera.

I'm always interested in opportunities to merge science and design. Read more about my design background or better yet: hire me to merge science and design for you.logo

In 2014, I joined the Rider University Science Advisory Board, where I work on Alumni & Faculty outreach. In 2009, I started a science alumni affinity chapter at Rider, to foster lasting connections of the science alumni and faculty with the University, and promote outreach, networking, and support of alumni and undergraduate science populations. I am also a member of the MES/MSAG Alumni Group at UPenn.

I have also been involved in local governance, serving on the Voorhees Township Environmental Commission, serving as Commission liaison to the Voorhees Township Planning Board, and serving on the Voorhees Township Buzby Landfill Task Force and the Voorhees Environmental and Cultural Education Foundation (in various capacities) from 2000 to 2004.

The Design

I've always "done" design and been a designer, even if I wasn't classically trained as one and even while I was busy doing science. Then I went back to school for it, getting certificates from the University of the Arts in communication design (2013) and web design (2015).

I'm always interested in opportunities to merge science and design. Read more about my science background or better yet: hire me to merge science and design for you.logo
